Dr Visit

Both Christopher and Kylee had a check up this last month. Christopher had his 3 yr. check up and he now weighs 35lds. and is 38 inches. Kylee had her 6 month check up and she is now 14 lbs. and is 25 inches. It is so funny how different Christopher and Kylee milestones are. With Christopher everything was right up there and most times he was above average on everything. Then with Kylee she is just so small compared to him, I mean Christopher was 14lbs. at 2 months, so there is a huge difference with them. Also with Christopher we started him on solids at 5 months and with Klyee we started her and then had to stop because her little body just wasn't ready yet. Enough comparing, I just never thought they they would be so different from each other in so many ways. (Meaning milestones.)
We are happy to say that the kids were able to get there swine flu shots and that made me feel at ease with traveling over the holidays and all. I should be getting my shot this week, I just hope I don't get sick from it.
Here is what Kylee is doing at 6 months:
- Smiles a lot
- Loves her brother
- Loves to eat
- Rolls over
- Likes to sit up, but doesn't have the balancing part yet
- Doesn't like to be alone
- LOVES HER MOM
- Has to have her pink giraffe and binki to go to sleep
- Still is sleeping through the night. (I hope that never ends.)
- Likes toys that make lots of noise
- She can pull out and put back her binki
- Loves to laugh

As for Christopher well here is his list of things he likes:
- Video games (don't worry it's just mario race kart and wii)
- Loves soccer (just finished lil kickers and loved it)
- Likes to color, draw and paint
- Loves his cars still
- Likes anything Toy Story
- Likes learning and is asking lots of questions about what things are or what words mean
- Likes to play with friends
- Likes to eat: string cheese, squeeze yogurt, pb&j sandwich(everyday), fruit snacks.
- Loves nursery and his nursery leaders ("Bishop" aka Bro. Kinghorn)
- Story time at the library
- Reading

Those are just a few things about each of them. I am so lucky and blessed to have such great kids who tell me everyday that they love me. (Well Kylee not so much as actually saying it, but she shows me.) They have brought our family so much fun and excitement. We love you both.

More Lil Kickers

Christopher has LOVED Lil Kickers. He only has a few more lessons left and then he will have to wait until he is 5 or 6 to play soccer anymore. The reason being is that they are taking away Lil Kickers from North Bend, I guess they don't have that many kids doing it here so this is the last class in North Bend. I will sure miss it, but I am sure Christopher will miss it more.

Here is Christopher with his coach, Coach Andrew.
I just had to put this one up, because this little boy jumping in the picture is so funny.

Halloween Party

Just like last year we went to a Halloween party, but this year we had 2. One on friday night and the 2nd one on Halloween. We have learned now that we will never again do a Halloween party and trick-or-treating all in one night. The kids were great, but we were so tired. We only got pictures of the first Halloween party, but there are lots. So enjoy all the Halloween pictures.

Here is one of me and Kylee. Also a big thank you Chris for doing such a great face painting on me. He free handed the whole thing. I guess we all know now who will be painting the kids faces when they get older.
It's Buzz Lightyear again. "To infinity and beyond"
Mom and the kids. Dad decided he didn't want to dress up this year, so there aren't any pics of him.

Kylee loved playing with those balloons. Chris would bounce it up in the air and she would just watch it and thought it was the best thing yet.

Carving Pumpkins

We almost didn't even carve our pumpkins this year. For some reason the week of Halloween was the most busiest week for us. I think we carved our pumpkins in like 30 min. which included gutting 3 pumpkins, carving and cleaning. We didn't have much time, but had lots of fun doing it. Here is the outcome.

Kids Costume Party

A few days before Halloween, Christopher had a Kids costume party. This year for Halloween Christopher was Buzz Lightyear and Kylee was a witch. Here are all the kids at the costume party. There were games, candy, and fun finger foods. Christopher had such a great time playing with all his friends.

They also made Halloween pictures

And here is a picture of Kylee
And one of Buzz Lightyear, I mean Christopher

The Dentist

Christopher had his first dentist appointment this last week. I am pretty sure I was suppose to take him to the dentist last year, but never did. So we finally made it. Here is Christopher at the dentist. He looks a little frightened here. But as you can see from the smile on his face in this picture he did really well. I was so happy and pleased with the service we got. The guy was so nice, and fun. He told Christopher all about the tools they use and let him try them out. I also think that because they had tv's where Christopher could watch a show helped to.

He wasn't scared once. He is my big boy now. He let them clean all his teeth, floss them, and then put fluoride on them. After he was done, he got to pick a toy out of the toy chest. And the best part was that he has NO cavities and that makes me feel good considering this was his very 1st dentist appointment.

Pumpkin patch

We went to the pumpkin patch to find some pumpkins. We had a great time and the best part was it wasn't raining. We got 3 pumpkins to carve, swung on a tree swing, and went on a hayride.

We went on a hayride this time

Found a tree swing and had to swing on it.

Looking for pumpkins

Christopher wanted to take a picture, so he took one of Chris. I have a handsome husband if I say so myself.
